Jennifer Koons

Jennifer recently concluded a year-long fellowship with the Washington, D.C.-based Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Prior to joining the Reporters Committee, Jennifer spent more than four years at NationalJournal.com where she oversaw all campaign-related content and managed a special report on federal judicial nominations. She has also covered the U.S. Supreme Court for the Religion News Service. She recently completed a joint master's degree program with the Northwestern University School of Law and the Medill School of Journalism. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Ohio State University. Her stories have appeared in a variety of publications including the Washington Post, the San Diego Union Tribune and Inside Mexico.
